2 Corinthians 12:9, 13:5,6

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.


13:5 Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don’t you know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified. 13:6 But I hope that you will know that we aren’t disqualified.


Serendipity. These two verses remind me of a recent post and discussion at Cycleguy’s Spin, especially JayCee‘s comment.


  1. Thanks Ivan for the shout out. Jaycee’s comment is a good one. Paul’s point in 2 Cor. 12:9 is that he is unable to do it himself. He needs God’s strength. Jaycee was reiterating that.
