2 Corinthians 9:7

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Ironic or at least fitting that this is the verse I find on restarting my project.

I’m going to be taking a more relaxed approach, without targets or schedules, that will I hope see me writing more often and commenting on my selections more often. I have notes on Leviticus which I’ll post, but I’ll leave the rest of the Old Testament until I’ve finished the letters.

There are bits of other languages scattered through this blog, and I’d like to include — even learn — favourite verses in these languages ([…]), but I’ll try and avoid giving myself too much to do. The main thing is to enjoy it: enjoy the Book and let it into my life.
