1 Corinthians 16:13

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

(KJV; OPB)

Many modern translations have “be courageous” but, according to the Online Parallel Bible’s Greek tab, the Greek is actually ἀνδρίζεσθε (andrizesthe, “act like men”). We know Paul was an old sexist, but we should allow “act like a man” to stand; allow it to mean more (and maybe less) than “be courageous”. “Act like a man” also allows the (punnish perhaps) response, “which man?”
