1 Corinthians 6:12

“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything.



  1. Good verse for Paul’s argument that he would not be controlled by legalism but in his freedom he must also be careful that he doesn’t become a slave to anything. (Modern ideas: drugs, alcohol, tobacco, sex) This is a sobering verse. The possibility that even things that are good can control.
